Zenith Independents

Expanding the Zenith range of play systems, we are excited to welcome new independents to our product portfolio, creating a stylish aesthetic in swings and flying foxes. Various seating options mean there is something for every style and every age - multi user basket and team seats, 'Joey' carer and child seat, and the traditional strap and 'bucket' seats - all in an economical space design.

Everyone loves to swing and these styles will entice users of all ages to the playground.

Grant Applications

The most successful grant or funding applications are driven by an invested member of the community, with a clear idea of what the grant can do for the area as a whole.  Passion and a plan are key to success.

As a trusted partner for many school and community organisations, we would like to help take the confusion (and a little of the stress) out of grant applications and fundraising, assisting you along the way with master planning and stakeholder engagement.

We have written up a brief guide to help you navigate the complexities of landscape design and community needs as you write and submit your own grant application.

The power of skills

When creating playgrounds we talk a lot about the skills that children can develop as part of their play interactions.  Whether it be strength, coordination, adaptability or even social development, we understand and advocate the importance of these skills.

This is why when we started seeking additional team members, we knew that the attributes that they would bring would need to be just the right balance of previously developed skills and as a result (ironically) they matched what children develop in playgrounds - strength, coordination, adaptability and social skills.

We are very pleased to welcome Anna and Anette to the team.  Both ladies come from similar construction based industries that have armed them with the right knowledge and confidence in getting their jobs done.  By bringing these additional skill sets to the team we have been able to strengthen our ability to meet our clients needs and take our services to the next level.

Anna Rogers

Anette Hyde

is our Contracts/Projects Administrator and brings a depth of understanding around contracts and our responsibilities, that we are genuinely grateful for.  One of the key skills that she has showcased since her arrival is her ability to coordinate and report on several simultaneous projects at any given time.  Her ability to maintain a consistent finger on the pulse allows others to focus on their roles more specifically, resulting in a more efficient team as a whole.

In-house design and manufacturing solutions

They say necessity is the mother of invention, however trust and collaboration are the essential ingredients of a great outcome. Harvest Rise - 34km from Brisbane - supports an environmentally sustainable lifestyle throughout the estate, encouraging a healthy active balance, sustainable local facilities and utilising materials that are environmentally responsible.  Developers of the estate, Intrapac, and Landsite Landscape Architects trusted us to develop product that would align with the ethos of the estate and new models within our Rustik range were born.  Stainless steel arch work together with sustainably sourced natural hardwood timber creates a visual aesthetic that blends into its surrounds whilst offering non-prescribed play for all ages.

Inclusive Design Guidelines (and a special promotion)

Playscape Creations has long been incorporating our Sensory Design Methodology in the design of our recreational spaces - promoting not only play opportunities for all abilities, but also for all ages - encouraging communities to come together through play.

Inclusive Play guidelines are being introduced in most states with a commitment to set best practice recommendations so that playgrounds and recreational facilities are accessible and inviting to all.

The NSW Everyone Can Play Guidelines is a refreshing paper - intended to help designers do the best with what they have, within the budget and site constraints they are faced with.  Not everyone has the luxury to completely upgrade their facilities overnight, however a few small interventions can make a huge difference to children being able to play together and for their playspaces to become more inclusive.

Wayfinding signage for example helps users navigate their way through the recreational space - especially useful for visitors with sensory impairment to contribute to a sense of comfort, safety and security.

Truly inclusive play equipment involves children of all abilities playing together - laughing and squealing together without prejudice.  The Inclusive Orbit provides this in a fun exciting way with one wheelchair bay, one seated bay and one standing bay so that users of all ages and abilities can spin and whirl together.

We are currently offering a promotional special on this item until the end of the year

in the hope that we can help you make your park more inclusive.
